Margaret Qualley has recently come clean about her reluctance to become part of a major movie franchise, making an honest confession that shed light on her career choices. The talented actress, best known for her role in 'The Maid,' admitted that she has deliberately steered clear of films and TV shows that are part of larger franchises. While promoting her latest flick, 'Honey Don’t!,' Margaret opened up about the one franchise she might consider joining if circumstances were different.

During an appearance on Collider Ladies Night, the 'The Substance' star shared, "I don't think I want to commit to a franchise." She emphasized that such commitments require "a lot of time" and admitted to being "scared" of such a long-term engagement. "I guess I'm a commitment-phobe. Plus, no one's really knocking on my door," quipped the 30-year-old actress.

It's worth noting that Margaret did have a brush with a major franchise when she starred alongside Adam Sandler in 'Happy Gilmore 2.' Elsewhere in the interview, the 'Poor Things' actress addressed rumors about her potential involvement in the upcoming reboot of the 'X-Men' franchise. However, Margaret was taken aback by these speculations and quickly denied them.

For those unaware, Margaret, the daughter of actress Andie MacDowell, kickstarted her acting journey with HBO's 'The Leftovers' and has since garnered two Emmy nominations for her roles in 'Maid' and 'Fosse/Verdon.' While Margaret hasn't completely ruled out joining a franchise, she made it clear that her decision would heavily depend on who's working behind the scenes. "I think it all boils down to the director. If you have an incredible director who makes you feel safe and excited, then who knows?" she added thoughtfully.

Meanwhile, Margaret is all set to star in an upcoming movie alongside an actor who is no stranger to the world of franchises, promising yet another exciting chapter in her illustrious career.
