Meg Ryan was gracefully awakening the red carpet as she made her way to the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, following her poignant tribute to her late friend, Rob Reiner, at the 2026 Oscars. Hosted by Conan O’Brien at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on March 15th, Meg’s elegant appearance at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art was a sight to behold. She shimmered in a satiny green dress, complemented by a pair of sleek black platform heels and her signature blonde curls, styled in a chic above-the-shoulder bob.

Earlier in the evening, the 64-year-old actress donned a strapless black dress to stand alongside her When Harry Met Sally costar, Billy Crystal. Together, they delivered a heartfelt message about their late director and his wife, Michelle Singer Reiner, who tragically passed away in December.
“My friend Rob’s movies will endure for generations,” Billy said through tears, “because they touch what makes us laugh, cry, and aspire to be better – kinder, funnier, and more human in his eyes.” He continued, “When Michelle Singer entered his life, they were unstoppable. A gifted photographer, she not only collaborated with Rob on films but also fueled their tireless fight against social injustice in the country they both loved.”
“Their loss is immeasurable,” Billy continued, as Meg, Kathy Bates, Demi Moore, and others stood by his side. “That his work meant something to you and for us who had the privilege of working with and knowing him and loving him, all we can say is, Buddy, what fun we had storming the castle.”
Meg and Billy’s teamwork in honoring Rob marked the second consecutive year they shared the Oscars stage. Indeed, last year, the You’ve Got Mail actress returned to the Academy Awards for the first time in 27 years to present the Best Picture trophy to Anora.
