Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly's family tree is branching out once more! The 38-year-old actress and her 34-year-old rocker fiancé are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child together, as Fox joyously revealed on Instagram on November 11th.
In her heartfelt post, the radiant expectant mother is seen cradling her burgeoning baby bump, draped in a mesmerizing shroud of black liquid, with a tender tag to her beloved Kelly in the photograph. Another snapshot captures the soon-to-be mother of four holding up a pregnancy test displaying a positive result, directly to the camera's lens.
"Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back," she penned in the caption, borrowing lyrics from Kelly's song "last november," which poignantly speaks of their shared journey through a past pregnancy loss. This bundle of joy will mark Fox's fourth child and Kelly's second. Fox is already a doting mother to Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8, from her previous marriage to Brian Austin Green, while Kelly is a proud father to Casie, 15.
The "Jennifer's Body" actress and Kelly, born Colson Baker, first crossed paths on the set of "Midnight in the Switchgrass" in March 2020. Their relationship blossomed into the public eye after Fox featured in Kelly's "Bloody Valentine" music video in May 2020, shortly after her split from Green, who she was married to for nearly a decade.
In January 2022, Fox announced their engagement on Instagram, sharing a video of Kelly proposing under a banyan tree, a symbol deeply significant to their bond. "In July of 2020, we sat under this banyan tree," Fox nostalgically recounted in her caption. "We asked for magic, unaware of the trials and sacrifices our relationship would demand but enchanted by our undying love and intertwined karma.
"A year and a half later, after enduring the depths of despair together and laughing more than we ever thought possible, he asked me to marry him," she continued. "And, as in every lifetime before and after, I said yes…and sealed our bond with a ritualistic sip of each other's blood. 1.11.22."
Fox had previously hinted at the prospect of starting a family with Kelly during the MTV Video Music Awards in 2021, where she introduced the rapper alongside Kourtney Kardashian and Kardashian's husband, Travis Barker. "New York, I need you to roar for our future baby daddies," Fox exhorted the audience.
In November 2023, Fox bravely opened up about her miscarriage in two poignant poems featured in her book "Pretty Boys Are Poisonous." During an interview about the collection with "Good Morning America," Fox discussed the miscarriage as a shared experience with her fiancé.
"I've never encountered anything like that in my life. Having three kids made it incredibly challenging for both of us, sending us on a tumultuous journey to comprehend, 'What does this mean?' and 'Why did this happen?'" she shared.
In the book, Fox poignantly wrote about a 10-week-and-one-day ultrasound revealing a baby girl, expressing, "Maybe if you hadn't... maybe if I had..." Elsewhere, she penned, "I want to hold your hand, hear your laugh," followed by, "But now, I have to say goodbye." Another poignant line imagined holding the baby "as they rip you from my insides."
"I will pay any price," Fox wrote fervently. "Tell me please, what is the ransom for her soul?"
