Shortly after the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, shared a rare glimpse of her three-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet, online, critics swiftly lambasted her on social media platforms. On Saturday, the 43-year-old royal posted a series of images to commemorate International Women's Day, including a snapshot of her husband, Prince Harry, cradling their toddler in his arms aboard what appeared to be a boat surrounded by water.

The online community was far from pleased, scorching the royal couple for their alleged laxitude regarding water safety protocols while boating. One disgruntled user vented, "Prince Harry and Meghan Markle excel at showcasing their parenting ineptitude to the world. What idiotic moron fails to strap a life jacket on their child while boating?"

Another individual, whose family has been involved in the boating industry for four generations, echoed the sentiment, emphasizing, "It's an absolute no-no! Accidents can occur in the blink of an eye."

"How incredibly irresponsible! Even pet owners ensure their pets wear life vests when on board boats," penned another user.

"Common sense dictates that even proficient swimmers, like my kids who were avid water enthusiasts and skilled swimmers from a tender age, always donned life vests," remarked a user. "Even strong swimmers can be unexpectedly tossed from a boat or slip, sustain injuries, and find themselves submerged underwater."

One social media user quipped sarcastically, "Imagine not equipping your non-swimming child with a life jacket while venturing out to sea in a dinghy."

Representatives from Harry and Meghan's Archewell organization were silent in response to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Despite receiving negative reviews, Markle's lifestyle show, "With Love, Meghan," has been renewed for a second season on Netflix. Launched on March 4th, the former "Suits" actress is joined by a few celebrities and chefs as she shares her cherished recipes and hosting tips.

Royal experts and The Hollywood Reporter widely panned the show for being "cringe-worthy" and inauthentic. British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard told Fox News Digital that the show "appears mundane and lacks a wow factor."

"Meghan strives to portray herself as an altruistic and kind-hearted individual, but it comes across as somewhat smarmy," she claimed. "My toes curl at the sight.… This is excruciatingly awkward and far from entertaining. It feels overly staged, and the tips and tricks are far too rudimentary… Meghan exudes the aura of a modern-day Stepford Wife."
