Meghan Trainor dared her fans to do a double-take after posting a video on TikTok of herself tackling the stiletto challenge. In the clip, the "All About That Bass" crooner balanced precariously on one leg atop an unusual object, with Nicki Minaj's "High School" playing in the background. Viewers were left scratching their heads and flooding the comments section with their astonishment at her unrecognizable appearance.
"I didn't recognize her at first," penned one puzzled fan. "What happened?"
Undeterred by the reactions, the 31-year-old struck back hours later with another video, lip-synching to Megan Thee Stallion's "Her" while flaunting her stunning new look. Through her mouthed lyrics, she declared, "I don't care if these bitches don't like me. 'Cause, like, I'm pretty as fuck. Just the other day, I heard someone say... Matter of fact, what could they say with a face like this and a bitch this bad? Shit."
Accompanying the video, she captioned, "Glam team really did that."
Indeed, Meghan's sleek, long ponytail with a middle-parted fringe wasn't the sole catalyst behind her transformation. The "Made You Look" songstress, who shares sons Riley, 4, and Barry, 22 months, with her husband Daryl Sabara, had recently opened up about her weight loss journey over the past months.
"I've been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me," she penned on Instagram in March. "I've worked with a dietitian, made significant lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my second pregnancy."
"And I'm so glad I did," she emphasized, "because I feel great."
The Grammy Award winner has also been open about undergoing breast augmentation and getting Botox in the past. "I got my dream boobs and they are gorgeous," she told E! News in March. "I look so good naked."
She continued, "I had two babies, I pumped everything out of me, and then I lost a bunch of weight. My boobs were like, 'We're not boobs anymore.' I was like, 'I'm going to get some new ones,' and that was my dream."
Although she admitted to perhaps overdoing it with the injectables. "I got too much Botox and I need help," she joked on her Workin' On It podcast last November. "I messed up. I've had Botox, like, a handful of times, just my forehead."
"I cannot smile anymore," she confessed. "Everywhere I go, I cannot smile. My face hurts to smile, even to try."
