Megyn Kelly calls Rachel Zegler ‘a pig’ after ‘Snow White’ star’s nasty tirade about Trump voters

If the shoe fits indeed! Megyn Kelly, a noted conservative commentator, did not hesitate to label Rachel Zegler, the upcoming star of Disney's reboot of "Snow White," as a "pig" after the young actress made some vitriolic remarks about supporters of President-elect Donald Trump. During a fiery segment on her SiriusXM show on Thursday, Kelly lambasted both Zegler, 23, and Disney for their hypocrisy and politically charged statements lacking nuance.

Imagine this scene: a Broadway actress boldly declaring, "F*ck Biden supporters, may Biden and Kamala never find peace." Such a person would be dismissed from their post in the blink of an eye, Kelly exclaimed with frustration. "Disney, take note! You may need to start filming your movie all over again, because this young woman is a pig, and you terminated Gina Carano for comments far less inflammatory than these absurdities."

"There's something deeply flawed about this individual," Kelly asserted regarding Zegler. Recall that Gina Carano was dismissed from Disney's popular series "The Mandalorian" in 2021 after she drew parallels between the plight of Jews in Nazi Germany and the treatment of conservatives in modern America.

Zegler stars as the iconic Disney princess "Snow White" in the forthcoming live-action adaptation of the beloved animated classic. Following the presidential election, the Gen-Z actress vented her frustrations on Instagram, lambasting Trump supporters for steering the country in a negative direction. "I'm left speechless amidst this chaos," she penned in an Instagram Story. "Four more years of hatred, pushing us towards a world I dread for my daughter to grow up in. A world that will be challenging to nurture her in."

"There's a profound sickness prevalent in this nation...evident in the vast number of people rallying behind a man who jeopardizes our democracy," she continued. "May Trump supporters, voters, and Trump himself never find peace," concluded the actress, who, despite expressing fears for her "daughter," is unmarried and has no children.

Last year, Disney decided to push back the release of the live-action "Snow White," which boasts a budget of $209 million, due to fan backlash over the portrayal of the seven dwarves. The woke production replaced the traditionally uniform seven dwarves with a diverse ensemble reflecting various races and body types. Producers sent the project back to be reworked, ultimately opting for CGI dwarves instead of the originally miscast actors.

Zegler previously made headlines when she offered a radical interpretation of the fairy tale originally penned by the Brothers Grimm in the 19th century. "We're not in 1937 anymore," she stated in a resurfaced 2022 interview at the Disney D23 Expo. "She won't be rescued by the prince, and she won't dream of true love." She also criticized parts of the original film as "weird" and claimed that the prince in the story "literally stalks" Snow White, earning her significant backlash for her woke commentary on the timeless narrative.

Furthermore, Zegler sparked controversy in August when she posted "Free Palestine" on X after the first trailer for "Snow White" was released online. Recently, Zegler celebrated the opening night on Broadway as Juliet in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet."

"Snow White" is scheduled to hit theaters in 2025, following three years of production. The film, penned by "Barbie" director Greta Gerwig and directed by Marc Webb, promises a fresh take on the classic tale.
