Gigi Hadid embarked on a flawlessly orchestrated routine for the highly anticipated Met Gala 2025. Stepping out on the grand staircase of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the 30-year-old revealed that her meticulously planned day began with her long-term beau, Bradley Cooper, who has been by her side for over a year now. "I awoke nestled beside my man," Gigi disclosed to Emma Chamberlain in a Vogue interview on May 5. "We savored a leisurely morning filled with laughter, after which I retreated to my abode for a solitary hour, indulged in a refreshing shower, underwent a fitting session, and treated myself to a comforting meal of chicken fingers and fries before diving into the glam squad."
An intriguing aspect of her routine that particularly resonated with her was her dietary choice. "I find that a bit of protein in the guise of fried chicken," Gigi elaborated, "does wonders in calming my pre-event nerves."
Gigi, who co-parents her 4-year-old daughter Khai with ex-partner Zayn Malik, has publicly demonstrated her affection for Bradley in numerous ways. Earlier this month, she officially acknowledged their romance on Instagram by posting a picture of them locking lips amidst a collage of snapshots from her birthday bash. "I had an unforgettable time celebrating, and it's a divine feeling to be surrounded by so much love!" she captioned the post on May 3. "I'm incredibly grateful and honored to embrace this new decade."
Although Bradley didn't accompany Gigi on the Met's red carpet, the supermodel still shone brightly in a stunning gold Miu Miu gown, which she revealed to E! was inspired by the legendary designer Zelda Wynn Valdes. "Everyone should check her out," Gigi enthused to Zuri Hall on Live From E!: Met Gala 2025. "She was an extraordinary dressmaker who crafted exceptional pieces in the late 1940s, honing her skills under her uncle's men's tailoring shop and masterfully blending those codes and techniques to empower people through her creations."
Now in her thirties, Gigi is poised to express herself with even greater frequency. "My aspiration for this decade," she added, "is to speak my mind without hesitation."
While Bradley and Gigi didn't make a red carpet appearance together at the Met, other couples turned the evening into their very own date night. A$AP Rocky, who served as a co-chair alongside Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams, and Colman Domingo, attended the event with his pregnant partner Rihanna, just hours after she announced they were expecting their third child together. "I'm doing well, surprisingly feeling quite alright," Rihanna, who is also mother to RZA, 2, and Riot, 21 months, later shared with Entertainment Tonight. "I'm not overly overwhelmed at the moment. Initially, I was a bit tired, but now I'm thrilled."
