Michelle Williams publicly reprimanded a fellow passenger for audaciously placing their "gross" bare foot adjacent to her first-class seat, sparking an Instagram post on Saturday. The former Destiny's Child member captured the intrusive appendage peering from the corner of her seat in a snap and captioned it with an exclamation, "I PROMISE YOU BETTA GETCHO FOOT FROM ME!!!!" She continued, "Y'all, this is happening right now on my flight, and I'm shedding genuine tears of disbelief!!"
Addressing those inquiring about her seating arrangement, the 45-year-old actress clarified in the comments, "YES, I am sitting in the first-class cabin. Evidently, a copious amount of audacity accompanies those bookings… OBVIOUSLY!! #seat3F, where 'F' stands for feet, figuratively speaking, of course." She playfully added, "Queue the song 'nasty work' by @yahyahanddomo_," hinting at her amusement amidst the distress.
Post-flight, Williams shared a follow-up video, dramatically crooning, "I made it out. I made it out alright," before recounting the ordeal to her followers. She began, "Baby, I survived, and I made it back home. Y'all, I was almost felled by someone's feet… They almost had me!"
Describing the moment, Williams revealed she initially noticed something out of the corner of her eye, only to discover, to her astonishment, a foot resting nearby. Though she conceded the foot wasn't "that bad," describing it as "conditioned" and "moisturized," her disgust was palpable.
Defending the man, Williams speculated he might have needed to "stretch out a little bit," adding, "He was friendly, though. He actually assisted me in retrieving my bag from the overhead bin, to which I responded, 'Thank you.'"
The R&B diva quipped that she had "lived to tell the tale," facetiously mentioning the need for a shower to eradicate the lingering memory of "someone else's feet." She concluded, "All is well; I've safely returned to New York City," where she is currently starring in "Death Becomes Her."
This incident unfolded during Williams' journey back to the Big Apple, following a funeral in Illinois, adding an unexpected twist to her trip.
