"Michelle Yeoh's presence in 'Avatar 3' is a misconception," Cameron clarified to Entertainment Weekly at the grandeur of Disney's D23 convention. "She's destined for the realm of '4' and '5.' So, there's been a bit of a misunderstanding floating around."

Back in 2021, the late, lamented producer Jon Landau had ignited speculations by sharing a glimpse of Yeoh on the bustling set of 'Avatar 3,' hinting at her imminent appearance. Little did fans know, Cameron had orchestrated a dual symphony, filming 'Fire and Ash' and segments of 'Avatar 4' in tandem with the recent release, 'Avatar: The Way of Water,' in 2022.

"Yeoh's entrance is imminent, portraying a character brimming with intrigue and charm," Cameron elaborated to EW. "We're essentially peeking into the future here. This grand narrative has been meticulously crafted over decades, with scripts penned long ago, stretching to the conclusion of 'Avatar 5.' Our journey through 'Avatar 4' has been a parallel endeavor, fueled by the urgency to capture our youthful cast in their prime."

"Our hearts are filled with admiration for Michelle," the director enthused, adding, "She's transcended her status as a mere movie star, evolving into a colossal, unparalleled phenomenon. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to collaborate within this extraordinary realm."

At the D23 expo on August 9th, Cameron, alongside the stellar cast of "Avatar" - Zoe Saldaña and Sam Worthington - unveiled the official title of the highly anticipated third installment, while also presenting captivating concept art that teased the film's visual splendor.

"Prepare to be immersed in Pandora's unseen wonders," Cameron exhorted the captivated audience. "This journey is a mind-bending adventure, a visual symphony that will feast your eyes, yet it carries with it profound emotional depth, surpassing anything we've crafted before."

The third chapter in this epic saga is poised to grace the silver screen on December 19, 2025, with "Avatar 4" following suit on December 21, 2029, and finally, "Avatar 5" concluding the trilogy on December 19, 2031, promising a cinematic odyssey that will resonate for years to come.
