Shaun Weiss is extending a helping hand to a fellow child actor in need. The "Mighty Ducks" alum has offered to assist Tylor Chase, after a heart-wrenching video surfaced showing the "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" actor living on the streets in Riverside, California.
In a December 22 Instagram video, Shaun, 47, shared, "I've received numerous messages about Tylor Chase. I reached out to some friends, and we have a bed for him at a detox center. We have a place for him to go for long-term treatment, thanks to my buddy Mike Jordan at Eleven 11 Recovery. All we need to do is find him. If I'm not in Los Angeles, I would personally go look for him myself."

The D2 star, who himself struggled with homelessness during his journey to sobriety over the past decade, pleaded with anyone who has seen Tylor, 36, to reach out so "we can get him the help he needs in time for the holidays."
In a December 20 social media post, Tylor was approached on the street by a camera operator who asked if he was a former actor on Disney Channel. Tylor clarified that he starred as student Martin Qwerly on Nickelodeon's "Ned's Declassified," alongside Devon Werkheiser, Daniel Curtis Lee, and Lindsay Shaw throughout the sitcom's three-season run from 2004 to 2007.
But Shaun is not the only celebrity who has spoken out about Tylor following the viral video. Devon, who played the titular Ned Bigby in the series, admitted that "it is heartbreaking to see" his former costar in this light. "Tylor was a sensitive, sweet, and kind kid," he told TMZ. "I haven't seen Tylor in almost 20 years since the show ended. Anyone who has dealt with severe addiction and deep mental health issues knows it's an unbelievably challenging situation if they don't want help."
He added, "My only hope is that from this exposure, someone with real understanding and resources can step in, get Tylor into treatment, and help him get back on track. We all want a happy ending."
