Mila Kunis has taken on a daunting new role as the president of her homeowners association, a position she quipped on the December 8th episode of Today, "It's one of the toughest yet. All I get is complaints all day long. No one ever says, 'You know what? Thank you so much.'"
The Black Swan star, now 42, shared that her main gripe with her neighbors is their lack of response to emails. "No one acknowledges emails, by the way," she added. "They think it's a mass email, so I don't get an acknowledgement. I worked hard! ChatGPT and I worked really hard at putting that email together."
Despite the challenges, Mila is grateful for the support of a friend in the same HOA who can help her out. "Recently, I had to text my friend who lives in the neighborhood and say, 'You need to reply to my email,'" she said with a laugh, "so that I can encourage other people to acknowledge my email."
Mila's home life, on the other hand, is very average. "I wake up every day at 6:15. First thing I do is turn my alarm off," she continued. "I make myself a cup of coffee and make the kids their breakfast and lunch, then Ashton takes them to the bus. It’s very laid-back."
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal in December 1st, Mila explained that her neighbors in Beverly Hills are desensitized to her presence and often react with amusement when she calls them to address issues like road erosion. "I know this is ridiculous, but please, can you give me a quote on this?" she said with a hint of frustration.
