Miley Cyrus has spoken out to set the record straight about the persistent rumors that her parents relied on her fame and earnings to "survive." While discussing how her early fame had an impact on her family, she took a moment to address the claims head-on.

"My parents didn't need me to be famous to sustain themselves or to maintain stability," Cyrus firmly stated, refuting the criticisms. In an effort to clarify further, the "Flowers" singer revealed that all the money she has ever earned has gone directly into her own account.

"What often happens to these children is that their parents want it more than they do, or the children end up being responsible for the entire family's income. That was never my responsibility. Every single penny I've earned has gone into my bank account because my parents were very responsible," she explained.

Cyrus also recalled how her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, was always present on the Disney set, ensuring that nothing would ever go unnoticed. "My dad was on set every single day, so there was nothing that could happen that he wouldn't know about," she said. "There was never a time when I felt alone in that dressing room."

The highly anticipated "Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special" is set to premiere on March 24th, promising to be a nostalgic trip down memory lane for fans of the beloved series.
