Simon Rex and Johanna Braddy have gracefully stepped into the Season 2 ensemble of Netflix's hit show "Mo," taking on recurring guest roles that are sure to captivate audiences. Rex embodies the character of Guy, a sizzling new culinary sensation in Houston's dynamic foodie landscape, and a formidable romantic contender for Mo's affections. Meanwhile, Braddy shines as Austin, a Texan dynamo with a touch of the unexpected, and the sister-in-law of Mo's trusted companion Hameed (played by Moayad Alnefaie).

The second season also boasts the return of fan-favorite guest stars, including Tobe Nwigwe as Nick, Kamal Zayed as Nazeer, Walt Roberts as Buddy, and Lee Meredith Eddy as Lizzie. At the heart of the show stands Mo Amer, the creator and star of "Mo," portraying Mo Najjar, an undocumented Palestinian refugee striving to secure American citizenship for his beloved family — his resilient mother (Farah Bsieso), sister (Cherien Dabis), and elder brother (Omar Elba). Teresa Ruiz shines as Maria, Mo's sweetheart.

Rex, having garnered recognition as an MTV VJ and for his appearances in the "Scary Movie" franchise, made his breakthrough with Sean Baker's "Red Rocket," where he portrayed the retired porn star Mikey "Saber" Davies. His recent credits include films like "Mack & Rita" (2022), "Down Low" (2023), and "The Sweet East" (2023). Later this year, audiences will witness him share the screen with Channing Tatum and Naomi Ackie in Zoe Kravitz's directorial debut "Blink Twice," and alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Lily James in "Greedy People" from Lionsgate. His upcoming projects also include "Easy Waltz" starring Vince Vaughn and Al Pacino, "Americana" with Sydney Sweeney and Paul Walter Hauser, "Tow" featuring Rose Byrne and Octavia Spencer, and "Everything's Going to Be Great" alongside Bryan Cranston and Allison Janney. In the world of television, she starred in Lifetime's "Unreal" and held recurring roles in NBC's "Chicago Med," Max's "Gossip Girl," and ABC's "A Million Little Things." Braddy also lent her voice to the iconic character of Princess Yue in Nickelodeon's beloved "Avatar: The Last Airbender."
