Erin McNaught's baby boy, Obi, is steadily improving. The Australian model provided an emotional health update about her eight-month-old son after he underwent surgery to remove a massive tumor from the right side of his brain. Alongside a heart-wrenching video of her and her boyfriend, Stace Cadet (real name Stasi Kotaras), offering comfort to their little one in the hospital, Erin posted on Instagram on July 14, "Today marks one month since Obi bravely underwent surgery to excise a colossal brain tumor, which was diagnosed mere days before."

"Stas and I arose early that morning," she recounted. "While he headed to the hospital, I lingered a bit longer, struggling to come to terms with what lay ahead. I stood on the balcony, watching the sunrise, my sobs racking my body so intensely that I could scarcely breathe. The very thought that this sunrise might be our last with Obi on earth was an unbearable burden."

Mercifully, Erin, 43, revealed that Obi "successfully navigated the surgery," allowing the family to return to the balcony to witness the sunset together. "Since then, Obi has amazed us with his remarkable recovery," she continued. "Each passing day, he accomplishes more and more. While we are still uncertain about his future, no one truly knows their destiny. For now, our hearts overflow with joy, happiness, and profound gratitude."

She added, "We hold Obi close, embrace our older children, and marvel at our little family, realizing how fortunate we are. We love each other with all our might."

Erin shared that she and Stace, a music producer, first brought Obi to the hospital in June when they noticed a "sudden deterioration" in his behavior. "He struggled with eating, sleeping, and most recently, keeping his head upright," the influencer disclosed on Instagram on June 11, explaining that an MRI scan confirmed the presence of a "large brain tumor on the right side of his brain."

Obi underwent surgery shortly after his diagnosis, with Erin describing the entire six-hour procedure as "terrifying." "For now, our focus is solely on his recovery," she penned on Instagram on June 26. "Seeing him laugh, play, and once again observe the world with the joy of a happy baby fills our hearts with immense happiness. Although we face a long journey ahead, we are incredibly grateful that he is no longer in pain."
