Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, the beloved star of "Modern Family," is living her authentic life with unparalleled flair, especially during Pride Month. The 18-year-old actress, who portrayed Lily Tucker-Pritchett on the cherished ABC sitcom for nearly a decade, has bravely come out as bisexual and embraced her identity as a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community.

In a heartfelt tribute to the series that shaped her career, Anderson-Emmons quoted an iconic line from one of her earliest scenes, adding a deeply personal twist. Recalling a moment when her on-screen aunt, Gloria Delgado-Pritchett (played by Sofía Vergara), revealed Lily's Vietnamese heritage, the little Lily famously replied, "No I'm not, I'm gay, I'm gay!" Her TV dad, Jesse Tyler Ferguson's Mitchell Pritchett, chuckled and corrected her, "Honey, no, you're not gay. You are just confused!" Anderson-Emmons chuckled along as she quoted the scene, appending a poignant message: "People keep joking so much about me being gay when I literally am (I'm bi)."

Captioning her video with warmth and humor, Anderson-Emmons wrote, "Happy Pride Month to all and to all a goodnight hehehe #modernfamily #lily #pridemonth #bi #pride." The response from her followers was overwhelmingly positive, with many jokingly asserting that her TV dads, Mitch and Cam, would be "so proud."

Since "Modern Family" concluded in 2020, Anderson-Emmons has dedicated herself to her studies, but she has recently embarked on an exciting new venture as an artist. Under the moniker Frances Anderson, she is releasing music, starting with her debut single "Telephones and Traffic" last month. Her second single, titled "Don't Forget Me," is set to drop on June 27th. In a teaser for the upcoming song, Anderson-Emmons is seen gently swaying with another woman, a visual embodiment of her growing confidence and authenticity.
