Conner Leavitt is baring his soul, unearthing the depths of his past. In an exclusive, never-before-seen scene from Season One of "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," aired during the Season Two reunion on July 1st, Whitney Leavitt's husband revealed a harrowing truth: he had been sexually abused as a child. While confronting his addictions to pornography and his infidelity via a dating app during his marriage to Whitney, Conner's poignant confession unveiled his relentless quest to understand the origins of his turmoil.

"I sought help, embarking on a journey of therapy to unravel the 'why' behind my struggles," he disclosed, tears welling up in his eyes. "And I knew the answer—a secret I had only entrusted to Whitney, my therapist, and my family." Through a veil of tears, Conner continued, "As a young boy, I was raped. When I finally confronted that buried emotion and memory, clarity dawned."

In a heartfelt confession to Whitney during the confessional interview, Conner admitted, "The validation I craved? I regret the pain I caused you, but I'm deeply proud of my honesty with you, our first step in tackling these excruciating challenges."

Post-broadcast, Conner—father to Sedona, 4, Liam, 2, and Billy Gene, 8 months, with Whitney—expressed gratitude for "the sensitivity shown towards this delicate topic" and revealed he had a prepared statement, fearing his emotions might overtake him.

"That was an excruciating chapter of my life, one from which I've worked tirelessly to heal," he recited solemnly. "And it still leaves a scar. I'm acutely aware that countless others carry similar burdens in silence."

"For me, those experiences molded me, fostering destructive habits, but they do not dictate my identity today," Conner continued, his voice trembling with emotion. "What truly matters is our growth, our resilience, and the mutual support we offer each other as we move forward."

With a hopeful note, he concluded, "Healing is attainable, and your story need not end with your past traumas."

Mikayla Matthews, Conner's costar on "Mormon Wives" who had also shared her own story of abuse, revealed that Conner reached out to her, urging her to seek therapy. "His gesture meant the world to me," Mikayla explained, referencing her ongoing dispute with Conner's wife. "Despite our differences, he took the time to check in on me, reassuring me that I had the support of someone who had walked a similar path."
