Elon Musk has pled to take a respite from his active engagement on his social media platform, following an assertion made by a Maga influencer who claimed to have given birth to his thirteenth offspring. Ashley St Clair, a 26-year-old Right-wing scribe, posted on X that she had welcomed a five-month-old baby with Mr. Musk and lambasted the world's wealthiest individual for his silence.
"Five months ago, I ushered a new bundle of joy into the world," she penned. "Elon Musk is the father. I kept this under wraps to safeguard our child's privacy and security, but recent days have made it evident that the tabloids intend to expose this, disregarding the potential harm it may cause." She further exclaimed, "Elon, we've been reaching out for days, yet you've remained unresponsive."
Mr. Musk, who has fathered twelve children through three relationships, neither confirmed nor refuted the influencer's accusation but did respond to a suggestion from a British X user that Ms. St Clair's pregnancy had been premeditated. "Ashley St Clair orchestrated a five-year plot to ensnare Elon Musk," penned Milo Yiannopoulos, along with a screenshot that seemingly captured Ms. St Clair telling fellow media personality Greg Price on X that she needed to catch Mr. Musk's attention for a marriage proposal—years before they even crossed paths.
"Whoa," Mr. Musk exclaimed, adding that he would unusually go "offline" for the weekend to focus on his Grok 3 AI project. Ms. St Clair, who previously held a position at The Babylon Bee, a satirical website, and authored an "anti-woke" children's book about gender identity, retorted, "When will you respond to us instead of publicly acknowledging smears from someone who just posted pictures of me in my underwear at 15?"
The Maga influencer added that Mr. Musk's team had already been made privy to the social media posts, which were "merely in jest." In an interview with The New York Post, published on Saturday, Ms. St Clair alleged that Mr. Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, had "slid into her DMs" on X in May 2023.
She recounted receiving a message from him that read, "Are you ever in San Francisco or Austin?" to which she replied, "I frequent Austin quite often for work." This allegedly led to an invitation to interview Mr. Musk at Twitter HQ in San Francisco, which was arranged by her company within two days. Soon after the interview, Ms. St Clair claimed she received another message from Mr. Musk asking, "Feel like going to Providence [Rhode Island] tonight?"
"I was instructed to guard this secret with utmost discretion, pledged to eternal silence about it," she recounted, alluding to her pregnancy, and accused that she had consented to omit the billionaire's name from the birth certificate, solely to safeguard his privacy. Born in Florida, Ms. St Clair claimed she was housed in a luxurious apartment within New York's financial hub, while her circle of friends were reportedly compelled to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
"My pregnancy was a time of complete isolation. Every facet of my professional life and past routines came to an abrupt halt. I was enjoined from confiding in anyone," she asserted. Brian Glicklich, the author's representative, stated that the duo had been privately negotiating an arrangement for the upbringing of their offspring. "We await Elon's public acknowledgment of his parental duties towards Ashley, to put an end to unfounded conjectures, and Ashley harbors faith that Elon intends to promptly finalize their agreement, prioritizing the welfare and safety of their shared child," he penned on X.
Mr. Musk has yet to directly address these revelations but did react to a fan's inquiry if fathering another child was one of his "side quests" by posting a crying-laughing emoji. This billionaire, who has openly admitted to being "obsessed" with the declining birth rates, is a father to twelve other children from three relationships.
He shares custody of five children with Justine Wilson, his ex-wife, including twins Vivian and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian. Tragically, they lost their eldest child to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome at ten weeks. In 2022, Vivian, now 18, changed her name from Xavier to Vivian, dropped her father's surname, and embarked on a gender transition journey.
In a 2024 interview with Jordan Peterson, a renowned Canadian scholar, Mr. Musk declared his transgender daughter deceased to him, accusing that he was "tricked" into granting consent for puberty blockers. "I effectively lost my son. There's a reason they call it deadnaming," he said. "My son Xavier is gone, killed by the woke mental contagion."
His marriage to Ms. Wilson, a Canadian author, spanned from 2000 to 2008, with Mr. Musk later asserting that he contributes $20,000 monthly towards child support. His high-profile romance with musician Grimes led to the birth of X Æ A-Xii, monikered X, often seen accompanying his father at the White House, along with their daughter Exa Dark Sideræl and son Techno Mechanicus.
Grimes, who has previously advocated for privacy for her child, expressed dismay when Mr. Musk paraded their toddler at a press conference in the Oval Office. "He should not be exposed to the public like this," Grimes wrote on X in response to a user praising her for raising a "very polite" child. "I was unaware of this, thank you for informing me. But I'm glad he was polite. Sigh," she added.
Mr. Musk is also the father of twins, Strider and Azure, with Shivon Zilis, a Neuralink executive. The couple welcomed a third child early last year.
