Have you caught wind of the exciting news? My Chemical Romance has unleashed a fresh tune! Over the recent weekend, the iconic rock quartet ignited their two-day residency at Los Angeles' storied Dodger Stadium, marking another milestone in their ongoing Long Live the Black Parade Tour. On the inaugural day, a sizzling Saturday, July 26th, frontman Gerard Way, alongside Ray Toro, Frank Iero, and Mikey Way, premiered "War Beneath the Rain," an unheard gem, for the very first time to an eager audience.

Addressing the thrilled crowd, Gerard Way reminisced, "I can't quite recall the exact timeline, but back in the days before our hiatus, we had a studio nestled in North Hollywood where we were crafting an album that never saw the light of day. And among those treasures was a song we held dearly – 'War Beneath the Rain.'" The band poignantly dedicated this track to their beloved late friend and producer, Doug McKean, who sadly passed away in 2022. "Tonight, with his family in attendance, this one's for them," Gerard emotionally declared.

The tour stands as a heartfelt tribute to MCR's magnum opus, 2006's The Black Parade. Since their triumphant reunion in 2020, following a seven-year absence, the band has repeatedly brought this album to life on stage. However, notably absent from this journey is the band's former drumming force, Bob Bryar, who passed away in late 2024. After a seven-year stint with the band, including his contributions to The Black Parade, Bob left in 2010. His absence is keenly felt, casting a poignant shadow over the tour.
