Just after the reunion episode debuted on Peacock on August 25, Netflix's official X (formerly Twitter) account bio underwent a change, reading, “DON’T @ ME IDK!!!” This mention sparked rumors that the 24-year-old, who parted ways with fellow islander Chris Seeley, 27, during the season finale on July 13, might be poised to star in one of Netflix's own dating shows. However, E! News has been informed that she is not bound by any non-disclosure agreement with the streaming service.
Confusion initially flared up during the taping of the reunion when host Ariana Madix inquired about Huda's dating life post-series, prompting her to steer clear of the topic. “I can’t discuss my relationships outside the villa,” Huda replied cryptically. “Legal reasons. I’m restricted from speaking. It’s Netflix. I’m not allowed to elaborate.” This response left co-host Andy Cohen baffled, urging her to shed more light on the matter.
“You were spotted on a red carpet with someone,” he pressed further. “Were you seeing that person?” But once again, the fitness influencer, who shares a daughter, Arleigh, 5, with her ex, Noah Sheline, declined to divulge any details. “I’m not authorized to speak on it,” she reiterated. “I’m truly sorry.”
At this juncture, Andy concluded the segment by highlighting Love Island USA's popularity, stating, “Tell Netflix, this was the summer's top streaming show.”
