Cam Newton is steadily expanding his ever-growing family. The former NFL quarterback proudly announced that he is now a father to nine children, following the recent arrival of a son born to his girlfriend, Jasmin Brown, whom he has been romantically involved with since 2022. In a sneak peek from the upcoming October 16 episode of The Tamron Hall Show, obtained exclusively by Us Weekly, Cam excitedly shared the news of his ninth child with host Tamron Hall, saying, “Oh, he’s already here.”

Earlier this year, Jasmin—who already shares a 19-month-old daughter with the former football sensation—revealed her pregnancy in a heartfelt Mother’s Day Instagram post. “Feeling ALL the Love, kicks, and elbows,” the Zatima actress penned in May. “Cheers to our growing tribe.”

In addition to his two children with Jasmin, Cam is also the proud father of sons Chosen, 9, Camidas, 7, and Cashmere, 6, as well as daughter Sovereign-Dior, 8, all from his relationship with ex-girlfriend Kia Proctor. He also embraces Kia’s daughter Shakira, 18, from a previous relationship as his own. “I proudly say I have eight children—six biologically through me,” the Heisman Trophy winner declared during an April 2024 episode of Club Shay Shay. “I don’t believe in stepchildren. What my biological kids get, everybody gets. I don’t have favorites. I’m raising kings and queens.”

Meanwhile, the 36-year-old athlete also shares a son, Caesar, 6, with ex-girlfriend LaReina Shaw, as well as her son Jaden, 19, from a past relationship, further enriching his diverse and loving family.

Leading up to the birth of his ninth child, Cam expressed his enthusiasm for continuing to grow his family and admitted he didn’t know when he would feel his family was complete. “Did I tell you I want more?” he confessed to People in February. “But jokingly, and not jokingly, they really give me my purpose, and there are so many different things that I look at to say, they’re my refuge. They’re my peace. They’re my encouragement.”

He added, “There are times when I’m here, and they’re still at home. Those kinds of things affect me, but they also give me more reason to say I’m doing this because of that situation.”
