The tragic deaths of Rob, 78, and Michele, 70, sent shockwaves through Hollywood. They were found dead in their L.A. home on the afternoon of December 14th. About six hours later, Nick was arrested near the University of Southern California and booked on suspicion of their murders. He was charged with the murders on December 16th, with the L.A. County District Attorney's Office announcing at the time that he would also face a "special allegation that he personally used a dangerous and deadly weapon, that being a knife."

The death of the When Harry Met Sally director and his wife of 36 years has left many in Hollywood reeling. Jane Fonda shared on Instagram that she had seen the couple the night before their bodies were found, writing, "I saw them night before last looking healthy and happy. I am reeling with grief. Stunned."

Similarly, Rob's daughter Tracy Reiner, whom he adopted during his marriage to his late ex-wife Penny Marshall, was left speechless by the tragedy. "I came from the greatest family ever," she told NBC News. "I don’t know what to say. I’m in shock."
