Isla Fisher has recently revealed her astonishment at the divorce of close friends Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, sharing her shock during an episode of the Fly on the Wall with Dana Carvey and David Spade podcast on October 23rd. As the actress from The Confessions of A Shopaholic, who recently separated from Sacha Baron Cohen in 2024, she expressed her profound surprise at the news of her friend's divorce.
When asked about Nicole's split, Isla candidly admitted, "I'm really, really, really shocked." Reflecting on the Babygirl actress' pending divorce, the Now You See Me star continued, "I left a message, but I haven't connected yet." However, she added, "I don't really want to comment on that because there are children involved," referring to Nicole and Keith's two daughters.
During the interview, Isla also opened up about her own divorce from Sacha, saying, "I've been married for 23 years. I only just got... separated, divorced."
For those who may not be aware, Nicole's separation from Keith after 19 years of marriage was confirmed last month. The following day, Nicole reportedly filed for divorce in Nashville, the place where the former couple had lived since 2007, citing "irreconcilable differences."
Since her split from Keith, Nicole Kidman has been seen out and about, implying that she is handling the divorce gracefully. Interestingly, the actress has returned to work on her series Lioness with costar Zoe Saldana. Not only that, but the Practical Magic actress was also spotted with her daughters at Paris Fashion Week as she returned as Chanel Brand Ambassador earlier in October.
Nicole has also made a comeback to social media, most recently sharing a photo of herself wearing a black shirt featuring an image from Gus Van Sant's movie To Die For, in celebration of its 30th anniversary.
Meanwhile, Keith has been linked to 25-year-old tour guitarist Maggie Baugh. A source revealed to the Daily Mail that the rumored couple have been seen "getting chummy together on stage with Keith even directing some of his mushier lyrics towards her." However, some fans suggest that the current linkup may also be due to his High And Alive World Tour.
On the other hand, Nicole is "keeping it positive as she isn't someone who dwells on regrets," said an insider.
