Sunday Rose Kidman Urban was an enchanting presence at her high school's prom, radiating a practically magical aura. The 17-year-old daughter of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban took a break from the runway to attend this special event, opting for a dress that was utterly bewitching.
Sunday Rose shared a photo of herself on Instagram on April 19, sitting on an outdoor stone staircase in her stunning gray and silver strapless gown. The intricate bodice was covered in metallic floral appliqués, and the layered tulle bottom half gave it a graceful and elegant touch. The Nashville native wore her hair down for this special occasion, opting to let the dress speak for itself, forgoing any jewelry altogether.
Sunday's prom moment came as she continued to make a name for herself in the modeling world, which she credits her mother for inspiring her to pursue. "I definitely gained a lot of interest from those experiences, especially being privileged enough to experience them at a young age," she told Elle Australia in a recent interview. "My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She’s a key part of everything I do."
The teenager also revealed the advice she's received from Nicole—who finalized her divorce from Keith in January after 19 years of marriage—about working in show business. "The biggest piece of industry advice Mum has given to me is to always be on time," Sunday explained. "There’s always going to be something with an early call time that you don’t want to get up for, but it’s really important to be on time because it shows that you’re prepared and grateful to be there."
"I’ve traveled my whole life and my mum is a really good traveler, so she has taught me how to be one, too," she added. "Which makes it so fun to travel and enjoy all the different places."
Meanwhile, Nicole—who is also mom to Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, 15, with Keith, as well as Bella Cruise, 33, and Connor Cruise, 31, with ex-husband Tom Cruise—has also learned quite a bit from her daughters. "I think they have an armor that we didn’t get, or that I certainly didn’t get, because there was no social media," the Big Little Lies actress told Ariana Grande in a conversation for Interview magazine published in November. "The very, very young now have already gone, ‘We know exactly how to handle this.'"
