After her critically acclaimed debut as an emcee, comedian Nikki Glaser is set to once again take the helm of the prestigious Golden Globes for the 2026 ceremony. Dick Clark Productions, the minds behind the glittering awards show, revealed on Thursday that Glaser would be returning to preside over the 83rd edition of the Globes next January. Glaser, making history as the first woman to solo-host the event, expertly navigated a night she lovingly deemed “Ozempic’s biggest night.”
"Hosting the Golden Globes this year was, hands down, the zenith of joy in my professional journey," enthused Glaser in a statement. "I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to reprise my role, perhaps even catching the eye of the 'The White Lotus' crew this time around, who might finally acknowledge my prowess and cast me in Season Four as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor shrouded in mystery."
The Globes, which saw top honors bestowed upon films such as "The Brutalist" and "Emilia Pérez," along with TV series including "Shōgun" and "Hacks," garnered 9.3 million viewers according to Nielsen, marking a slight 2% decline from the previous year. Echoing this year's broadcast, next year's ceremony will air on CBS and be available for streaming on Paramount+.
"Nikki Glaser injected a revitalizing spark and daring wit into the Golden Globes stage this year," praised Helen Hoehne, President of the Globes. "Her incisive humor and commanding presence established the perfect ambiance for an unforgettable evening, infusing the ceremony with vibrancy and, above all, fun."
