In a bold move that left her detractors speechless, North West took to TikTok to assert her independence and defy the naysayers who dared to question her fashion choices. The 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, in a video shared on her joint account with her mom on December 9th, lip-synced to the popular soundbite, "Why are you crying? How old are you? Just pull it together," effectively shooting down any criticism regarding her dermal finger piercing.

Addressing the trolls directly, North captioned the video, "This is for everyone that's mad over a finger piercing." Her unapologetic stance echoed her mother's previous defense of her daughter's unique style. In September, when fans noticed the piercing extending through the skin on North's middle finger, Kim swiftly intervened in the comments, writing, "It's okay," accompanied by a heart emoji. And in November, when a TikTok user expressed their dismay over North's finger piercing, Kim firmly stated, "This is such a non-issue."

Kim's unwavering support for her daughter's creativity and individuality is evident in her past statements. As she shared with Alex Cooper on the October 15th episode of Call Her Daddy, "I'm like, 'Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is.' It makes her so happy. I would never take that creativity away from her."

North herself exudes a confidence that borders on indifference towards the haters' opinions. "She'll be like, 'Mom, I saw this and I don't really care if someone says they don't like my blue hair or my this or that,'" Kim said. "And she's really confident and is like, 'I probably wouldn't be hanging out with those people.'"

In this bold display of self-expression, North West not only asserted her individuality but also sent a clear message to all those who would try to limit her creativity and freedom of expression.
