Miss Westie has returned to the studio, teaming up with her father, Kanye West, for a new track that celebrates her favorite things—namely, her new body jewelry. She shared a snippet of her song titled "Piercing on My Hand" on her newly formed Instagram account.
In the preview of the track on January 15th, North—the eldest of Kanye and ex-Kim Kardashian's four children—made it clear that she's not listening to critics who take aim at her fashion choices. "Piercing on my hand, the other for them bands," she rapped over the beat. "No friendship if you do not understand. Shopping in Japan that's where I always am. Went to school for two days then I got banned."
North gave a shoutout to her friends before getting back to her style, rapping, "Got some new Ricks yeah they're so crazy." Making it clear that she's not going to change her accessories, North declared over the beat, "I want more piercings and tats, I love blue hair put it in some plaits. Put the music to the max. I want 100,000 racks."
Though her dad didn't make an appearance in the clip, North was sure to give him a shoutout in the caption writing, "Piercing on my hand @ye version." Indeed, the 13-year-old has been unapologetically clear when it comes to her style. Days before the song's release, North proved that she indeed had more piercings on her hand in a January 13th Instagram Story.
In the pic, North held her hand towards the camera to display matching silver piercings on her index and middle fingers while rocking an all-black Balenciaga ensemble. North showcased her finger bling once more the same day on her and Kim's joint TikTok page captioned "#northforever," in a clip where she frequently flashed her hand while lip syncing to rapper Prettifun's 2024 single "Ice Cream."
North's fingers aren't the only piercing hot spot. Indeed, earlier this month, the teen played around with a filter that added piercings to her face. In the clip posted on January 3rd, North revealed a series of piercings on the bridge of her face while filming alongside her friend. Proving there was more than meets the eye, as the video ends, North flashes a smile for the camera, showcasing a blacked-out grill that covered all her teeth.
When it comes to her creative style and piercing choices, Kim—who also shares kids Saint, 10, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6 with Kanye—knows she's raising a kid with confidence. "She'll be like, 'Mom, I saw this and I don't really care if someone says they don't like my blue hair, or my this or that,'" the Kardashian star told Alex Cooper on the October 15th episode of Call Her Daddy. "And she's really confident and is like, 'I probably wouldn't be hanging out with those people.'"
