On Thursday, Sony Music unveiled that Oasis, gearing up for their long-awaited reunion tour, will unveil a companion film to complement the musical extravaganza. According to Sony, Peaky Blinders maestro Steven Knight has taken on the role of producer for this cinematic endeavor, while the directing duties will be handled by the duo of Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, who have previously helmed Meet Me in the Bathroom, a documentary chronicling the vibrant 2000s rock scene in New York, as well as Shut Up and Play the Hits, a poignant film about LCD Soundsystem.

A release date for the film remains under wraps, with Sony Music Vision slated to handle its distribution. Magna Studios is producing the project, with Sam Bridger and Guy Heeley serving as producers, alongside executive producers Marisa Clifford and Kate Shepherd, whose impressive credits include Beastie Boys Story and Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now.

The tour, heralded as one of the most anticipated concert events of 2025, marks Oasis' first performances since their 2009 split on the eve of a Paris concert, amidst the famously tumultuous relationship between Liam and Noel Gallagher. Last August, the band posted on X (formerly Twitter), "This is it, this is happening," officially announcing their triumphant return.

Kicking off in Wales this July, Oasis will embark on a journey across England, Scotland, and Ireland, before venturing to North America with a Toronto kickoff, followed by sold-out stints at Soldier Field in Chicago, the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, and MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, culminating in two shows in Mexico City. They'll wrap up their European leg with two more UK dates, before jetting off to South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.

Acquiring tickets for these highly sought-after shows has proven to be a challenge, as Oasis has implemented a face-value ticket exchange system to thwart scalpers from exploiting fans on the secondary market. The band has advised fans to procure tickets solely through Ticketmaster or their official resale partners, issuing a stern warning that any tickets obtained elsewhere will be voided.
