As the days unfolded after Cardi B and her beau, Stefon Diggs, confirmed the arrival of their first baby together, a twist in the tale emerged courtesy of Offset, a member of the iconic trio Migos. The father of three, including Kulture (8), Wave (3), and Blossom (12 months) with Cardi, allegedly joked in an Instagram Story on November 15, as reported by Complex, "My kid lol." Before Offset clarified that the post was a hoax, Cardi B shared her response to the supposed post in a slew of now-deleted posts on X, expressing her dismay.
"Y'all be thinking it's so funny and it's not," Cardi wrote, calling out her ex's fleeting Instagram Story. "It's been over a year and I'm still being harassed and threatened to the point that I feel like my life is in danger." The Grammy winner reflected on her July 2024 breakup from her fellow rapper, adding, "It's all fun and games until it's too late." She warned, "Mf'ers do anything for attention and it could get real nasty with just one upload. LEAVE ME TF ALONE."

Offset's representative subsequently denied any involvement in the fabricated message, stating, "Any statements attributed to Offset circulating on social media are completely fabricated. Cardi responded to misinformation, and the situation escalated unnecessarily. Offset has remained supportive of Cardi and genuinely wishes her nothing but the best."
On November 13th, Cardi confirmed that she and her boyfriend of over a year had welcomed their baby boy. "I brought new music and a new album to the world!" she wrote in an Instagram post at the time. "A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve."
While Cardi has shared her fondness for texts from exes seeking a second chance in the past, it seems unlikely that she and Offset will embark on a new chapter together. "It was great while it lasted," Offset, 33, told the Associated Press on August 16th. "That shouldn't be the topic for either one of us no more. It's a book that's closed." As he put it, "It's all love and peace. I just ended the album with that, just to end that chapter because it's time to move on, it's over and done with."
Similarly, Cardi, also 33, isn't allowing her past to hinder her future with the New England Patriots player. "I would get married again," the rapper said during an appearance on Today on September 16th. "I believe in love. I'm like a hopeless romantic."
The "Bodak Yellow" singer is well aware that she can't completely leave her history behind. "Everybody knows how devoted I am as a mother, so they just know that it's like, this is what I come with," she explained. "I come with a luggage, a baggage, a bookbag, a purse. I come with everything."
Clearly, none of it has been too much for the NFL wide receiver to carry. "I'm happy I feel like I'm in a good space," Cardi gushed after announcing her pregnancy on CBS Mornings on September 17th. "Me and my man are very supportive of each other. We like in the same space in our careers. You know what it is; I feel like we're really great, we're really the best at what we do." Indeed, Cardi is certainly up with Stefon by her side. "He just makes me feel safe and very confident," she added. "And it makes you feel like you could take over the world."
