Mentally, Hudson Williams resides within the confines of his cottage. As the star of 'Heated Rivalry' graced the Oscars 2026 red carpet, he shared an insightful plan with Zuri Hall on 'Live from E!' to make the second season of their hockey drama even more captivating. "By trusting Jacob Tierney," Hudson elucidated, referring to the show's creator. "I'll sign my life away and give it my all to make it a smashing success."

Indeed, Hudson underscored the importance of his "all-in" approach for the upcoming season, considering the whirlwind of events that have engulfed him in recent months. As he eloquently put it, "The fact that I’m invited to the Oscars is pretty wild." Although the 25-year-old is attending the 98th Academy Awards—hosted by Conan O’Brien—as a guest, he candidly admitted that there's one nominee he can't wait to meet: Yorgos Lanthimos, the director of 'Bugonia,' whose film is nominated for Best Picture alongside 'The Secret Agent,' 'Marty Supreme,' 'Train Dreams,' 'F1,' 'Sinners,' 'Frankenstein,' 'Hamnet,' 'One Battle After Another,' and 'Sentimental Value.'

"I haven’t met Yorgos yet," Hudson mused. "If I could meet Yorgos, that’d be pretty cool." Of course, the breakout star has been humbled by every encounter he’s had this award season, especially from celebrities who have expressed their admiration for 'Heated Rivalry.' "Every single one," he noted. "I don’t want to single anyone out because there are too many now. It’s also a bit obnoxious to say that it’s not just one person but multiple. It feels really good because I’m proud of those people."

And as for what's next for him beyond the ice rink? Hudson assured, "We’re cooking." The Canadian native quipped that he's been shocked by "all" the meetings he's had thus far for potential future projects. As he put it, "I’m like, ‘What?! They want to meet?’"
