Pedro Pascal has recently revealed his vehement reaction to his clean-shaven appearance in DC's highly anticipated film, 'Wonder Woman 1984.' During a candid interview with LADbible, the talented actor from 'The Last of Us' reminisced about his look, confessing that he was "utterly horrified" by his clean-shaven visage.

"I was absolutely appalled by how I appeared," expressed the 50-year-old Pascal. He noted that he is accustomed to growing facial hair, adding, "but when I had to shave it all off, I looked... well, let's just say I strongly disagree with a clean-shaven me."

Pascal, who made a triumphant return as a superhero in Marvel's 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps,' admitted that while he cherished his role in 'Wonder Woman,' he was less than thrilled with his appearance. "I absolutely loved the movie, but I was so horrified by my look that I never revisited it unless absolutely necessary," the actor from 'Gladiator II' elaborated.

Interestingly, Pascal pointed out that had his role necessitated a clean-shaven look, he might have gone through with it. However, he added, "Our looks in the movie were a collaborative creation involving everyone."

Earlier, in an interview with Vanity Fair, Pascal had opened up about the criticism he faced for his role in 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps.' "I'm more acutely aware of the dissatisfaction surrounding my casting than anything I've ever done," he confessed.

In a separate conversation with ComicBook, Pascal delved into the qualities of his character in the film. "With Reed, his body may stretch, but he's primarily a brain character. I drew inspiration from the brilliance of an octopus. Not in any literal, physical sense, but I internalized it, embedding it into my subconscious," shared the actor from 'Materialists.'

Pascal further revealed, "That's the ultimate character secret I've entrusted to you."
