To kick off the event, Rick Riordan, the esteemed author behind the "Percy Jackson" series and the co-creator/executive producer of the television adaptation, delivered an evocative video message, heralding the highly anticipated premiere of the second season on December 10th. This season draws inspiration from his captivating second novel, "The Sea of Monsters." The excitement escalated further with the unveiling of a tantalizing teaser trailer for the upcoming chapter, offering viewers their first, eagerly awaited glimpse at Daniel Diemer's portrayal of Tyson, the cyclops who forges an unbreakable bond with Percy (brought to life by Walker Scobell). Additionally, the trailer hinted at thrilling action with a fleeting, heart-pounding snippet of a chariot race that takes place within the mystical confines of the camp, igniting anticipation among fans.

Executive producer Craig Silverstein exclaimed about the race, "The chariot track stands as the most breathtaking set I've ever worked on. It's destined to be a sequence that will leave you mesmerized, just as it did me." Moderator Timothy Simons, who will guest star as Tantalus in season two, quipped, "I've never been part of a project with such a lavish fire budget!"

Riordan, to the sheer delight and screams of the Hall H audience, also revealed that the series had found the perfect actors to embody the beloved characters of Nico and Bianca di Angelo, two young demigods set to enter the narrative in season three. Levi Christopher will take on the role of Nico as a series regular, while Olive Abercrombie will recur as Bianca. Christopher has previously graced the stage in a touring production of "Peter Pan" and guest-starred on CBS' "FBI" in 2024. Abercrombie's television credits encompass "Mayfair Witches" and "Outer Range."

Production for season three, which is adapted from "The Titan's Curse," is poised to commence in the near future. Alongside Scobell and Diemer, the Comic-Con panel was also graced by cast members Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, and Dior Goodjohn, along with executive producers Jonathan E. Steinberg, Dan Shotz, and Silverstein.

Steinberg and Shotz serve as the showrunners for "Percy Jackson and the Olympians." They executive produce season two alongside Silverstein, Rick Riordan, Rebecca Riordan, Bert Salke, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein of The Gotham Group, Jeremy Bell, D.J. Goldberg, James Bobin, Jim Rowe, Albert Kim, Jason Ensler, and Sarah Watson.
