Pete Davidson has made a bold prediction: Walton Goggins will be the next celebrity to experience a sudden and dramatic shift in public perception. During an appearance on Theo Von's "This Past Weekend" podcast, Davidson delved into the unpredictable nature of Hollywood, where stars can be swiftly "built up" only to face an abrupt backlash from the internet. He pointed to Pedro Pascal as a prime example of this rollercoaster phenomenon.

The comedian elaborated on how Pascal's meteoric rise to fame had triggered a wave of fan backlash. "Take a look at Pedro Pascal right now," Davidson remarked. "Just two years ago, he was this hardworking, talented actor who had been grinding away, a struggling artist. Then, boom—he explodes onto the scene, and suddenly everyone's chanting, 'Daddy, daddy! Yeah, daddy, daddy!'" But, he continued, "A year later, he's everywhere because he's the hottest thing going, and suddenly everyone's like, 'Get the fuck out of here, dude.'" Davidson underscored the importance of allowing celebrities time to acclimate to their newfound levels of fame.

Turning his attention to the future, the former "Saturday Night Live" star predicted that Walton Goggins would be the next actor to fall victim to this cycle. "They're gonna do it with Walton Goggins," Davidson declared. "He'll be next. It's like, we prop everyone up so quickly, and then it's just as fast to tear them down. It happens within months."

Davidson himself is no stranger to the pitfalls of fame. His tenure on "SNL" catapulted him to acclaim, but he hasn't hesitated to criticize the media for what he perceives as the "sexualization" of his public image following his high-profile relationship with Ariana Grande. "I brought a lot of pop culture into the show, and I kind of turned it into this tabloid-y, trendy spectacle," he admitted. "I was embarrassed by it. Nobody was talking about the work I was doing; instead, they were saying, 'Oh, that's the fuck stick.' That really stung."
