Rumors surrounding Pete Davidson's alleged covert romance and a resurgence of rehab speculation have been categorically denied by Maria Georgas, a former "The Bachelor" contestant, via her social media platforms on Tuesday. These denials came just a few hours after a source informed the US Sun that Davidson, aged 31, had recently "entered rehab" following the termination of his purported months-long affair with a fellow "Bachelor" alum.

Georgas swiftly dismissed any notion of a clandestine love affair with Davidson after his breakup with "Outer Banks" star Madelyn Cline earlier this year. "Never dated Pete. False rumor," Georgas declared on her Instagram story. The 30-year-old reality TV personality clarified that she is friends with Davidson's sister, Casey, adding, "Case closed."

Georgas also vigorously refuted claims about Davidson's return to rehab and questioned the status of his sobriety. "Just spoke to his sister; he's not in rehab and has been sober for months," she posted, making her feelings about the situation crystal clear. "Can't believe this crap," Georgas continued, branding the rumors "insulting to his recovery and my mental health." She concluded her message by asserting, "He's literally home."

Georgas, who featured on "The Bachelor" Season 28 alongside Joey Graziadei, was prompted to respond to the US Sun's story published on Monday, November 18. The outlet's insider had claimed, "He checked into rehab in Florida fairly recently. He flew in on a private jet," adding that Davidson was "in pretty bad shape this time around" and "not in a good place."

Furthermore, the source alleged that the "The King of Staten Island" actor had ended his brief romance with Georgas just prior to checking into rehab, claiming that their relationship had lasted only "for a couple of months." The Post reached out to Davidson's representative for comment.

Davidson appeared joyful and in good health during his cameo on "Saturday Night Live" on November 2, showcasing his tattoo-free arms after undergoing ink removal. People magazine had previously reported that the "Bodies Bodies Bodies" actor checked into a wellness facility in July, noting that his family and friends were proud of him for prioritizing his health.

Davidson has been open about his battles with sobriety, borderline personality disorder, and severe post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as his multiple stays in rehab. In June 2023, he entered a facility to address issues related to his PTSD and borderline personality disorder diagnoses. "Anyone who knows Pete knows that he will always step up and get help when he knows he needs it," a source told Page Six at that time.

Davidson sparked controversy when he revealed that he was taking ketamine, a dissociative drug used in the treatment of depression and pain management, while joking about his rehab stint during a stand-up comedy review with John Mulaney and Jon Stewart in September 2023. "I am fresh out of rehab, everyone," Davidson shared, cracking jokes about having "that post-rehab glow" and declaring, "Seventh time's the charm!" Regarding his ketamine use, he described it as "magical," adding, "One time, I got the Wiggles to mesh with 'Schindler's List.'" Earlier this year, Davidson also raised eyebrows by admitting that he still "can't quit" weed.
