**FX's Alien: Earth Adds Emmy-Winning Star to Season Two Cast**
Peter Dinklage, the multiple Emmy-winning actor, has joined the ranks of Alien: Earth for its upcoming second season, courtesy of creator and showrunner Noah Hawley. However, details on Dinklage's role are being kept under wraps in a secure Weyland-Yutani facility for the time being.

The thrilling series' first season ended on a cliffhanger, with the surviving characters (and a xenomorph) all in one room and hybrid Wendy (Sydney Chandler) declaring, "Now we rule." Hawley spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the season one finale, stating, "This chapter is closed, but Yutani troops are landing. The balance of power has shifted. These children have no idea what's coming. The last line of 'Now we rule' is triumphant and uplifting. But cut to 10 minutes later... what is going to be happening? So I like that it has that real-time urgency to it."
Production on season two is scheduled to commence in May in London. Along with Chandler, the season one cast of Alien: Earth included Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille, and Moe Bar-El.
Dinklage had a memorable guest role in another FX series, The Lowdown, last season. His recent credits also include Dexter: Resurrection and the features Wicker and Roofman. He's also slated to take the lead role in Poker Face should the series find a new home after ending at Peacock. He is represented by CAA and Jackoway Austen.
Hawley executive produces Alien: Earth alongside Ridley Scott (director of the first Alien film), David W. Zucker, Clayton Krueger, Emilia Serrano, Bob DeLaurentis, Peter Calloway, Monica Macer, John Campisi, and Simon Emanuel.
