This spring, Pink is all set to electrify the stage at Petco Park in San Diego for a worthy cause at the Curebound Concert for Cures, scheduled for May 15. The superstar singer is headlining an event that benefits Curebound, an organization dedicated to funding cancer research aimed at prevention, detection, and treatment for both adults and children.

Following in the footsteps of fellow music icons like Elton John, Ed Sheeran, and Alicia Keys, who have headlined this event in the past, Pink's inclusion is a significant addition. To date, Curebound has awarded $51.5 million in cancer research grants, supporting 170 innovative studies across 23 types of adult and pediatric cancers.

"In a time when national research funding remains uncertain, Curebound's Concert for Cures plays a pivotal role in sustaining the remarkable momentum achieved in recent years by cancer research," said Curebound CEO Robin Toft. "We are thrilled to welcome Pink to San Diego and honored that she is using her exceptional talent to help Curebound in the fight against this disease that has touched us all."

Rick Valencia, the board chair of Curebound, added, "Cancer research isn't just about funding or breakthroughs; it's about the moments families get to keep. I've seen firsthand how urgently progress matters for families like mine. Many of the treatments and methods of detection and prevention available today didn't exist five years ago. Research is what gives families time, options, and hope. This night helps us fund that research."

Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday both on Curebound's website and through Ticketmaster. Pink's most recent album, Trustfall, was released in 2023 and marks her ninth studio album. The Grammy Award winner has sold over 60 million albums worldwide.
