Cailee Spaeny is adding a touch of spice to the ongoing chat about Jacob Elordi. The actress cleared the air regarding her off-screen chemistry with her Priscilla costar after Jacob's phone wallpaper, featuring a snap of them belting out karaoke tunes, stirred up romantic whispers. "It was a delightful evening," Cailee shared during her appearance on Today on December 9th. "He's a cherished friend, and I'm beyond proud of him."
Elaborating on the picture's origins, the 27-year-old shared, "Jacob came to London, and I was in town. The perfect way to celebrate anything is with a night of karaoke. So, that's us probably belting out a Shakira hit or something, as the cool kids do."

Indeed, the Knives Out: Wake Up Dead Man actress and the Euphoria star had a reason to party hard. "We were celebrating his exceptional performance in Frankenstein," she said. "He's just received two Golden Globe nominations for Frankenstein and his show Narrow Road to the Deep North, and I'm so proud of him."
Jacob spilled the beans about their fun-filled outing during the November 6th episode of the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast. After host Josh Horowitz inquired about Jacob's wallpaper, he proudly displayed his phone. "Right now, my wallpaper is me and my gorgeous friend Cailee Spaeny from Priscilla," he explained, to which Josh responded, "I adore her."
Jacob echoed the sentiment, noting, "I love her. What an incredible performer." Cailee and Jacob, both 28, shared the screen in the 2023 film based on Priscilla Presley's romance with Elvis Presley. At the time, Cailee gushed about their working relationship on set. "You can tell in his performances how seriously he takes it," she told E! News in November 2023. "And I think we both have the same work ethic, which is such a relief. It doesn't mean anything about the actors, but actors do wildly different things for different roles."
"I think it was just like, we're both sort of nerds and are really intense with this stuff," she added. "We bonded before we went and filmed this movie, which I thought was really important. We knew that we had to trust each other before diving into it."
