Quavo has been unleashing a spate of singles lately, and rumors have it that he might soon be dropping another collaborative masterpiece with Future and Thugger. Over the past year, Quavo has been showering his fans with an abundance of musical treats, venturing into experimental territories along the way. Notably, two standouts from this period are "Tough" and "Georgia Ways."

"Tough," a first-time collaboration with Lana Del Rey, blends pop rap with country undertones, where both multi-talented artists delve into themes of love, Quavo's journey as a former Migos member, and beyond. Meanwhile, "Georgia Ways" marks an even bolder foray into country music, pairing Quavo with fellow Georgian music stars Teddy Swims and Luke Bryan. In this track, they extol the pride they hold for their respective hometowns. However, much of his recent output has either revisited older ideas or refined his current musical formula.

Speaking of which, Quavo's newest track, "Trappa Rappa," brings back the good old-fashioned trap rap vibe. He took to social media over the weekend to promote it online, and fans are loving the meticulous, hard-hitting flows that punctuate the ethereal, woozy instrumental. Captioning the post on both X and Instagram with "" Quavo subtly hinted at the video's stars. The "spider" emoji represents Young Thug, perhaps paying homage to "Metro Spider" from HEROES & VILLAINS. The "wizard" emoji, on the other hand, ties in with Future and his 2019 project, Future Hndrxx Presents: The WIZRD.

In what seems to be behind-the-scenes footage for the "Trappa Rappa" music video, Quavo, Future, and Young Thug are seen hanging out together. While this could merely be Quavo encouraging fans to check out his new single, it feels more like a covert indication of an upcoming collaboration among the trio. Such a collaboration would make perfect sense, especially considering Thugger's recent freedom and active involvement in music since his release. Future has also been on a roll since last year, dropping three mixtapes and churning out some of the biggest hits of 2024. Additionally, "Turn Yo Clic Up," from his 2023 album Rocket Power, was an underrated gem. That album marked Quavo's last solo effort, his sophomore album to be exact. Given his prolific output, now would be an opportune moment for him to release a new one. However, an announcement is yet to be made. At the very least, fans can keep their fingers crossed for a Future and Young Thug single to be next on Quavo's musical docket.
