Garcelle Beauvais has no intention of reclaiming her diamond—indeed, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills veteran has made it clear that her time with the franchise is a distant memory. "I'm not looking for that, and I don't think they are either," Garcelle told People in an interview published on January 24th, referring to her castmates. "So, it's probably even."
When it comes to reconnecting with Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, and Bozoma Saint John, Garcelle is focused on moving forward. "The past is the past," she said. "It was a good thing, obviously. I love my life now. I appreciate a little privacy and the projects I'm working on. It's nice not to have the camera in your face all the time—and my kids appreciate that too."
In March, Garcelle made the surprising announcement that she wouldn't return to the storied Bravo franchise after season 14. "It's been a wild ride," she said in an Instagram video at the time. "Some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened, but it's been a ride." She added that her 18-year-old twins, Jax and Jaid, influenced her decision, noting, "My boys are entering their last year of high school next year, and I want to be a part of that."
Weeks later, the Tempted 2 Love actress's TV exit was witnessed during the season 14 reunion after she shocked her castmates and Andy Cohen when she walked off, declaring, "I'm out." Attempts to repair the relationship with the cast off-screen shortly after were met with silence. Kyle previously revealed that Garcelle wasn't responding to any calls. "I haven't heard from her," she told E! in April. "I texted her twice and haven't heard back. It's unfortunate she left, but I do wish her the best. I think she'll always do well, so I'm not worried about her next chapter."
As for Garcelle's longtime friend Sutton, the South Carolina native shared that their relationship has also remained fractured beyond repair. "She was walking out on me and everybody else," Sutton told the cast during the season 15 premiere episode on December 4th. "I texted again and again and again. She did not text back."
"She's not speaking to me, she's not speaking to you, she's not speaking to you," Sutton added about Garcelle's reasoning for leaving the group. "We can play the guessing game for eternity."
