Denise Richards is absolutely thrilled about embarking on a fresh personal journey. Her enthusiasm for this new chapter in her life was even reflected in her recent hair transformation, as the star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" underwent a stylish makeover orchestrated by her hairstylist, Chris McMillian. Chris debuted what he described as a more "natural" 'do, commenting on Instagram on July 31, "Finally, all grown out and healthy—long BRONDE hair that suits her perfectly." He explained that a year ago, Denise had "bleached hair dyed over with brown," but thanks to "consistent trims" and a fresh dye job by colorist KC Carhart-Speers, her locks now resonate with her "natural vibe."
Chris further elaborated, "Loose long layers with fluid movement, accompanied by those big blue eyes and her infectious smile—Denise has it all." He added, "I've known Denise for 30 years now, and she is the kindest, sweetest, most loving human being I've ever met. We never fail to laugh together."
Indeed, the 54-year-old seemed to be thoroughly enjoying her hair metamorphosis. Sharing a photo of herself with noticeably softer and more diffused highlights, she posted on her Instagram Story, "Thank you, Chris, for the haircut and for making me laugh today."
Denise's new 'do emerges amidst her divorce proceedings with Aaron Phypers, her husband of six years. Court documents obtained by E! News revealed that Aaron listed July 4 as the date of their separation, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their breakup.
However, in her own filing, Denise accused Aaron, an alumnus of "Bold and the Beautiful," of physical and emotional abuse during their relationship—allegations that Aaron has fervently denied. On July 17, he addressed the rumors and speculations swirling around their relationship, telling People, "Let me be unequivocally clear: I have never physically or emotionally abused Denise—or anyone."
Calling his ex's accusations "completely false and deeply hurtful," Aaron continued, "Denise and I, like many couples, have faced our share of challenges, but any suggestion of abuse is categorically untrue. I have always tried to approach our marriage with love, patience, and respect."
