Rihanna dazzled on the red carpet like a diamond, returning to the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on November 3rd. It was her first red carpet appearance since welcoming daughter Rocki Irish in September, and she chose to share this special night with A$AP Rocky.
For the occasion, Rihanna donned an Alaïa outfit, complete with a black trenchcoat cinched at her waist and a pair of flowy white slacks. She added a touch of sparkle with a set of Dyne diamond earrings. A$AP, who was honored with the 2025 CFDA Fashion Icon Award, looked equally sharp in a Chanel suit over a yellow V-neck sweater and a pair of white-and-black dress shoes.
During their date night, the couple posed for pictures on the red carpet, laughing and holding hands. At one point, A$AP (real name Rakim Mayers) gave Rihanna a kiss on the cheek. Less than a week before their arrival at the CFDA Fashion Awards, A$AP stirred up the internet by seemingly confirming speculation that he had tied the knot with the Fenty Beauty founder when referring to himself as her husband.
"Being a father, a partner, and a loving husband in my family is what makes me really, really happy," he told Perfect Magazine in an interview published on October 29th. "That's what honestly does get me going: being able to express myself creatively, being able to be a family man and being able to be an artisan."
The month before, the 37-year-old hinted at possibly having made it down the aisle with Rihanna, telling Elle on September 24th, "How you know I'm not already a husband?" However, the "Praise the Lord" rapper kept his cards close to his chest, adding, "I'm still not gonna confirm it." Regardless of the label that most accurately describes his relationship with Rihanna, A$AP has been vocal that their daughter is his most notable accomplishment of the year. "That's my favorite thing I created this year," he told Complex last month. "Shout out to Rocki Irish, man."
