It's been almost a decade since Rihanna released an album, and her fans were on the edge of their seats when she appeared in a new video, showcasing her work in the studio. On February 26th, she took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her hectic night, including clips of her spending several hours in the studio.
In the newly shared video, Rihanna stepped out around 9 pm for a meeting for her brand, Savage. As she spoke with her coworkers, she revealed that she would have to go to the studio next and then work on a Mardi Gras costume for her little son. Around 2 am, she was seen working in the studio, where she spent almost three to four hours.

While at the studio, the Diamonds singer encouraged her fellow artists to grab a coffee together. At one point, she said, "Yesterday's price is not today's price." Whether she was joking or making a subtle reference to new music remains unclear. Around 7 am, she went back home and worked on her son's costume, which turned out to be amazing.
The comment section was filled with excitement from fans who couldn't help but speculate about Rihanna being in the studio. Many of them hoped it meant they were finally getting the album they've been waiting for. One fan wrote, "Studio? Do you mean new music? ?" while another commented, "STUDIO??????" A user remarked, "STUDIO! I repeat, she was in the STUDIOOOOOOOOO."
Even the official Grammys account jumped into the comments, writing, "RIH stop playing with the word 'studio.' It's activated us like a sleeper cell," and "Did you say studio??" One fan even begged her to release the raw studio version, promising to make it go platinum. They commented, "Bae, I'm begging you, just give us the raw demo from the studio session. We'll make it go platinum."
