Cinematographer Barry Markowitz, a close confidant of the late 'Spinal Tap' director Rob Reiner, has unveiled startling details about the couple's relationship with their children, Michele Singer, just weeks before their gruesome demise. During an exclusive interview with Page Six on Tuesday, Barry, who was a guest at Rob's Brentwood residence during the premiere of his latest film 'The Perfect Gamble,' shared his recent stay as an insightful glimpse into the couple's domestic life.

"I may have been one of the last people to see them," he disclosed, describing the intimate moments he shared with Rob, Michele, and their children - Nick and Romy - over a five-night stay. While Jake, the couple's other son, was busy with work elsewhere, Romy would often pop in for dinner and they would all "bulls--t together," as Barry described it.
"We'd scream at the TV, watch a movie and a basketball game, play with the dogs - it was pure family time, a huge love fest," he added. "I slept in the same house as Nick," the award-winning cinematographer recalled, emphasizing that at no point did Rob express any concern for his safety.
For those who may not be aware, Rob and Michele Singer were found dead in their Los Angeles home on December 14. Police have since arrested their son, Nick, on Tuesday, on suspicion of murdering his parents. The shocking revelation from Barry paints a vivid picture of a seemingly normal and loving family dynamic just days before their tragic end.
