Rosalía is embarking on her most ambitious international tour yet, taking her Spanish star status to new heights. On Thursday, she announced a whirlwind 50-plus-date tour across North America, South America, and Europe to support her chart-topping new album, Lux. With a flourish on Instagram, she unveiled the schedule for the 42-show extravaganza, touching down in 17 countries from the UK to the US, Canada, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, and beyond. The journey commences on March 16 in Lyon, France, and concludes on September 3 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
"The tour will bring to life Rosalía's fourth full-length masterpiece, LUX," the press release boasts, "originally recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Daníel Bjarnason." This spectacular rollout follows a record-breaking debut as Lux racked up 42.1 million streams in 24 hours, the biggest opening ever for a female Spanish-language artist. The album, a symphonic collaboration with the London Symphony Orchestra, boasts an impressive lineup of collaborators including Björk, Carminho, Estrella Morente, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Yahritza, the Escolania de Montserrat i Cor Cambra Palau de la Música Catalana, and Yves Tumor.
