Rosie O'Donnell is warmly embracing her transformed self, showcasing her remarkable weight loss journey facilitated by Mounjaro in a vibrant Instagram post on Friday. The 63-year-old comedian, dressed in a lively green shirt and clutching a microphone on stage, radiated a newfound confidence. Accompanying the picture, she penned, "I can scarcely believe this is me now. #mounjaro #weightloss #bodydismorphia," capturing her astonishment at her transformation.

Earlier in January 2023, O'Donnell openly acknowledged shedding 10 pounds thanks to Mounjaro, an FDA-approved medication primarily for type 2 diabetes patients, but also known for its weight-loss benefits. In a candid TikTok post at the time, she revealed, "For Christmas, I abstained from anything but water, with the exception of a toast with champagne and one night enjoying wine, so it wasn't a complete overhaul."

By March, after relocating to Ireland with her 12-year-old child, Clay, following President Donald Trump's reelection, O'Donnell updated her followers on further weight loss. In another TikTok, she shared, "I'm taking Mounjaro for my diabetes, and one of its side effects is weight loss. But another factor is that I used to have a personal chef for over two years in Los Angeles; now, I'm the one cooking for Clay and myself." She added thoughtfully, "I've always struggled with weight, so transitioning from an XL or XXL to a large size is genuinely shocking to me. It truly is."

The former co-host of "The View" also expressed her improved well-being, noting that she feels "healthier" and has been "sleeping better." O'Donnell's move to Ireland earlier this year was a deliberate choice for the well-being of herself and her non-binary child. Speaking to Us Weekly last month, she said, "I understand myself well enough to know that this was necessary for our safety and sanity." She continued, "We chose Ireland without a specific destination in mind."

In a March TikTok, while acknowledging her longing for her American friends and family, O'Donnell conveyed, "I miss many aspects of life back home and am endeavoring to make this beautiful country my home. We'll consider returning to America when it's safe for all citizens to enjoy equal rights."
