Ryan Seacrest is not giving a thumbs-up to rumors about his personal life. The host of American Idol addressed the recent curiosity about his romantic endeavors after he joked about seeking love on a popular dating app.
"People keep asking if I'm on Tinder," he said during his On Air With Ryan Seacrest radio show on March 30. "Well, I'm not. I think I made a joke about Tinder on Wheel of Fortune." Indeed, during the March 16 episode of the long-running game show, Ryan, who dated model Aubrey Paige from 2021 to 2024, reacted to the episode's "Love Is in the Air" theme by joking, "And I'll be on Tinder tonight so I can find it."

But after his On Air co-host Tanya Rad read him a series of headlines about his supposed presence on the dating platform, he clarified that his comment was merely a lighthearted remark. "OK, fine, got it," he conceded. "Anyway, I said it jokingly."
While Ryan dated Julianne Hough from 2010 to 2013 and had an on-and-off relationship with Shayna Taylor from 2013 to 2020, the media mogul has never been married, though he previously revealed that he very nearly popped the question to a former partner.
"I did get close and I didn't do it," he told Kelly Ripa during a May 2017 episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan. "It was the right move, but I love the idea [of marriage]." In fact, Ryan went on to share why he's held off on getting married for so long.
"I have this thing that I don't want to screw it up, and a lot of times, they get screwed up," he explained, adding jokingly, "I figure the longer I wait, the older I'll be, the closer to death I am—so I can get it in and not screw it up."
