The "Bed Chem" chart-topper will take center stage at the iconic Muppet Theatre, sharing the spotlight with the original and unforgettable character, Miss Piggy, for a special one-off performance in 2026. In a social media announcement on Wednesday, September 17, the excitement was palpable: "It’s time to play the music, it’s time to light the lights, it’s time to get things started as 'The Muppet Show' makes a triumphant return to Disney+ in 2026, featuring special guest star @SabrinaCarpenter!"

The statement went on to reveal, "This all-new installment from The Muppets Studio and Point Grey Pictures will reunite Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, and the entire gang as they return to the Muppet Theatre for a variety show brimming with music, comedy, and, of course, plenty of Muppet mayhem."

Not content with just starring in the show, the Grammy-winning artist will also step into the role of executive producer, joining forces with Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, and Alex McAtee. This exciting news comes hot on the heels of Carpenter's earlier announcement as the headliner for next year’s Coachella festival, further cementing her status as a rising star in the entertainment world.
