Hollywood luminary Sarah Jessica Parker recently made a candid confession about a past romance with a fellow major movie star. The star of "Hocus Pocus" has finally acknowledged her fleeting relationship with Hollywood icon Nicolas Cage, which sparked rumors of romance when they co-starred in the 1992 romantic comedy, "Honeymoon in Vegas."
During an appearance on the July 13th episode of "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," host Andy Cohen inquisitively grilled Sarah about the persistent dating rumors surrounding her and Nicolas. With a slight hesitation, the 60-year-old actress admitted, "Um, yes, I did date him."
Intriguingly, Sarah refrained from delving into any further specifics about their relationship. However, it seemed that their romance was a brief encounter that blossomed during the filming of "Honeymoon in Vegas," which took place from August to November 1991.
Cohen playfully remarked that he would need to have a heart-to-heart chat with his long-time friend Nicolas about this revelation. "Oh wow. We've got some talking to do!" he exclaimed with a chuckle.
Elsewhere in the interview, the beloved "Sex and the City" actress opened up about her current spouse, Matthew Broderick, and how she knew he was "the one." Sarah, who tied the knot with Matthew in 1997 and shares three children with him, explained, "I just knew he was incredible after spending just a little bit of time with him."
"But I think it was pretty early on," she added thoughtfully.
