Saraya, formerly known as Paige in the WWE, has made the bittersweet announcement of her departure from All Elite Wrestling (AEW) during her upcoming podcast titled "Rulebreakers With Saraya," scheduled for release on Thursday. With an emotional tone, she conveyed, "I'm here to share with you that my journey with AEW has reached its conclusion. It was an incredible ride filled with unforgettable moments. There are no hard feelings; my time there was nothing short of magical."
"At present, there aren't any narratives that align with my path," she elaborated, hinting at a lack of suitable roles for her in the wrestling circuit. Clarifying that her exit bears no ill will towards the company's President, Tony Khan, she emphasized her fondness for her tenure there.
"I absolutely loved every second of it," she said with genuine affection. "Tony is fantastic, and anyone stepping into that environment will undoubtedly cherish their time. It's truly wonderful. I'll miss the camaraderie of the girls' locker room deeply."
Having made her debut in AEW in 2022, shortly after bidding farewell to the WWE in the same year, the 32-year-old wrestler last appeared on television in October 2024, subsequently choosing to step back from the ring for a while. As we eagerly await the next chapter of Saraya's career, a potential return to the WWE remains a viable option, as she hasn't completely shut the door on reuniting with the company one day.
