The most recent installment of "The Chrisleys: Back to Reality" shed an illuminating light on Chase Chrisley's harrowing battle with alcoholism, particularly highlighting his January 2025 arrest stemming from a tumultuous bar altercation. The episode unfurled with poignant audio commentary from his parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, who vocalized their profound worries about their son's detrimental behavior.

Julie Chrisley painted a harrowing picture, describing the contemplation of her son's descent into darkness as "the most harrowing nightmare any parent could envisage," adding that it "rips my heart into shreds." Meanwhile, Todd Chrisley shared his own qualms, stating, "I can't say I was taken aback, for I had been cautioning Chase for years to steer clear of the bottle. Bars hold no promise of good fortune, my son."

Throughout the episode, Chase recounted the fateful night of his arrest, candidly acknowledging his "heavy indulgence" in alcohol and his subsequent loss of memory regarding the incident. As the 911 audio clip from that fateful night played, his friend Marty suggested that Chase had gotten into a brawl with the bar manager, possibly even slapping him. Chase, however, vehemently denied these allegations, asserting, "I would never strike someone. If anything, I'd ensure I got my money's worth in a fair fight... Everyone present vouched for me, stating I hadn't laid a hand on anyone." Chase then solemnly conceded, "I think I've truly hit rock bottom."

Savannah Chrisley revealed her desperate attempts to help her brother get his life back on track by arranging for him to enter a treatment facility. However, Chase dismissively rejected her offer, telling her to "go to hell." Savannah, doubting her brother's commitment to sobriety, expressed her skepticism, saying, "Do I truly believe it? No, because if he were sober, he wouldn't look the way he does. It's just a harsh reality. He doesn't appear healthy in the slightest."

The episode also featured an emotional video message from Todd Chrisley to his son Chase, imploring him to steer clear of alcohol. "Hey, Chase. My dear son, I love you with all my heart, having cherished you since the moment you took your first breath... Never surrender in life. More importantly, never give up on yourself. You must cease this alcohol consumption. You must stop. Find your faith. Know, my dear son, that I love you more than words can express. I cherish you, my boy."

Despite his ongoing struggles, Chase has been actively working towards his sobriety journey. He has recently unveiled a new line of alcohol-free seltzers named Gold Drop, aiming to provide a nutritious alternative for those grappling with addiction. Chase shared his renewed sense of well-being since abstaining from alcohol, stating, "Almost a month alcohol-free, feeling better than I have in years. God is truly good. #sober #sobriety."
