Sean 'Diddy' Combs' side hustle has earned him millions from prison: Report

Published: May 26 2025

Sean "Diddy" Combs may find himself confined behind bars, yet this unfortunate circumstance has hardly dampened his profit-making prowess. A report by The U.S. Sun, dated May 24th, revealed that despite his sex trafficking arrest in September of last year, the tarnished music mogul has discreetly amassed a whopping $4.1 million. The secret to his ongoing financial success? His luxurious $60 million Gulfstream G550 jet.

While his music endeavors and business ventures have crumbled like a deck of cards, Combs' sleek, 14-seater jet has been reborn, soaring through the skies as a premium charter for elite travelers. Managed by Silver Air, the enigmatic black aircraft has flown under the radar on high-end broker websites such as Jettly, without betraying its infamous owner's identity.

Unassuming customers, forking out approximately $32,597 per flight, are likely oblivious to the fact that they are journeying aboard the personal plane of the jailed founder of Bad Boy Records. Since its debut on rental platforms, the G550 has been booked an astonishing 126 times, averaging nearly a flight every other day. In just eight months, it has covered nearly 150,000 miles – akin to circumnavigating the globe six times – and consumed more than 136,000 gallons of fuel, emitting a staggering 1,710 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

Even in a moment of legal desperation, Combs offered the jet as collateral in a failed $50 million bail proposal. Despite this legal setback, the aircraft continues to be a cash cow, generating substantial revenue. Currently parked at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles, it is registered under the name LOVEAIR LLC, silently soaring through the skies, oblivious to the turmoil surrounding its famous owner.
